Combining high performance thermal and mechanical cutting, THOR® provides us with advanced capabilities in:
In 2022 we further expanded our capabilities with the addition of a second THOR® station and extension of the bed to 21.1m.
THOR® 2 enhances our plate processing capabilities with:
- Height sensitive scribing
- Hypertherm XPR300 plasma bevel
- Oxy fuel cutting
- Drilling / tapping / countersinking and milling.
These machines save double handling and additional processes of drilling / bevelling, and reduce the requirement for offline additional processes.
Our THORs can also now work together using SOLOMON - a collaborative cell system developed by TECOI, which allows savings of up to 40% in processing time compared to a conventional system.
